spread through the air or droplets while coughing. Indonesia placed second position as the highest
Tuberculosis case in Southeast Asia country, at the same time the third highest tuberculosis case in
West Java is Bandung. Tuberculosis is one of the chronic disease that would time-consuming for
the therapy that need slightest six until eight months, hence confine the patient in physical as well
as psychological. The demarcation leave patients perceive incapability and unserviceable from their
environment, consequently disrupt patient’s mental condition such as anxiety. This study intended
to comprehend depiction anxiety level of patient that receive anti-TB agents therapy through
slightly 30 days from the first date of treatment in polyclinic DOTS RS Paru Dr. H. Rotinsulu,
therewithal factors caused that anxiety. This study use cross-sectional study design through
retrospective and concurrent method. Abundance of sample this study is 49 study subjects in study
period since February 2020 previous to March 2020. Contained data is analysed using univariate
and bivariate analysis through Chi Square test. The result predicate by completing questionnaire
Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale display 33 study subjects (67,3%) had low anxiety, 10 study subjects
(20,4%) had low to moderate anxiety, 5 study subjects (10,2%) had moderate to high anxiety, and
1 study subject (2%) had high anxiety. Factors that lead anxiety level on study subjects are another
stress factor that affiliated with circumstances come down last month (p<0,001). Whereas age,
gender, education, occupation, wage, therapy duration, physical activities, and smoking habit nor
drinking impotence for study subject (p>0,05).
