Description
Summary:Bebras is an international initiative that conducts computational thinking education activities. Indonesia is one of many countries that has been a member of Bebras. Bebras Indonesia currently uses Olympia (olympia.id) as a learning management system to hold activities such as exercises and competitions. As technology advances, UI/UX development also advances and opens the possibility for systems to have a wider design interaction capability. Subsequently, it also opens an opportunity to build the interaction design of Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge site more optimally. User-centered design methodology is used as a method to build the interaction design, with efficient to use and easy to use as the usability goals, alongside helpful and motivating user experience. The final product is an interactive prototype, built with Axure RP 9. The said prototype is evaluated by conducting usability testing with moderated remote testing, thinking aloud testing, and first-click test. The evaluation shows that the prototype has fulfilled its usability and user experience goals. Most of the elements also considered easy to use and clear, as 22 of 24 tasks have the average of first-click duration of 1 to 3 seconds, while the rest have the average of 5 to 7 seconds.
