Description
Summary:In order to achieve the RPJMN program of 100% clean water access, Perumda Air Minum Tirta Raharja provides access to clean water for people in Bandung District through Gambung SPAM equipped with Sadu Water Treatment Plant (WTP). However, the Sadu WTP with a capacity of 250 L/second is only sufficient to serve the water demand of Soreang, Katapang and parts of Margaasih and Margahayu Subdistricts. Therefore, the Sadu WTP Stage II with a capacity of 150 L/second will be built to serve Kutawaringin, Margahayu and Margaasih subdistricts. Sadu WTP Stage II is located in Sadu Village, Soreang District, covering an area of 3,947 m2 with raw water coming from the Cisondari River. Based on the projection of water demand, WTP Sadu can provide a service level of 14%. The water quality of the Cisondari river has several parameters that do not meet Class I water quality standards Government Regulation PP 82/2001 and Indonesia Minister of Health Regulation 492/2010, such as turbidity, fecal coliform, total coliform, and phenol. Referring to the characteristics of raw water, the selected treatment series is conventional. Based on the weighting using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method and considering several aspects, the selected treatment alternatives for filtration, disinfection and reservoir units are dual media rapid sand filter, chlorine disinfection, and ground reservoir.
