Summary: | A good mining process has a crucial role in achieving production targets. One of the ways to support the achievement of production targets is by improving the drilling accuracy of the drilling tool, observed from the blast hole pattern and the digging time of the Excavation tool, the HITACHI Excavator - EX 5500. The method used to improve the accuracy of the drilling tool is to install more reference points using the Trimble R8 GPS (Global Positioning System) in order to reduce drilling errors.
The test results show that the drilling accuracy of the blast hole drilling affects the pe,formance of the excavation tool so that the time needed for excavating becomes faster when the error margin of drilling is reduced resulting in 14.9 seconds becomes I 0.5 seconds. |
