Summary:Culinary festivals are inseparable from hygiene factors that affects health, safety, and economics. In Indonesia, sanitation and hygiene problems are abundant, many culinary festivals that are held in Indonesia often do not offer a proper sink for washing hands, even though this is a crucial factor. Hand washing is one of the most essential and effective methods in decreasing foodborne pathogen transmission. Foodborne diseases are the main cause of lethal, preventable illnesses. Conventional hand washing with soap and water can help reduce the spread of unwanted and dangerous germs. Therefore, a product is needed to accommodate hand washing activities in crowded places where food consumption is frequent. The product is a portable sink that can be placed anywhere, prevents contamination by minimizing physical contact, informative, easy-to-use, and easy to mobilize.
