Summary:The family business is the most commonly discovered ownership business model in the world and has a substantial impact on the global economy. The total economic contribution of family businesses to the global economy is estimated at more than GDP 70%. However, the family business is a type of business that is vulnerable to longevity and sustainability. It is proven by the fact that only 30% of it successfully succeeded by the 2 nd generation, and 10% succeed in the 3 rd generation (Sreih et al., 2008). The most common issue that caused this situation is succession, the involvement of family and personal issue, and family conflict that trigger unprofessionalism in the family business. CV. Segara Luas Lestari, as a family business that operates in Manufacturing Service and Chemical Product Industry, faces an issue regarding internal management professionalism that is triggered by several factors. Through the combination of external analysis, with PESTEL analysis tool, and internal analysis, with the 7s McKinsey Framework, and completed by Root-Cause Analysis, this research will find the most suitable potential solutions to solve the unprofessionalism issues and the triggers found in the analysis phase. Based on the analysis, the solution proposed to solve the unprofessionalism issue will focus on the Finance, Operation, Leadership, Human Resource aspects and will be evaluated regularly based on the determined KPIs.
