Summary:<b>Abstract :</b><p align="justify"> <br /> <br /> Noise presence in electrocardiograph (ECG) signal results misinterpretating of heart information, and finally cause the misjudgement of heart condition. To avoid misjudgement of heart condition, noise in ECG signal has to be removed completely. Because of that reason, several denoising process algorithm has been developed.<p align="justify"> <br /> <br /> The objective of this reasearch was to evaluate the performance of wavelet transformation based denoising process on electrocardiograph signal. First step is minimizing heart information loss of ECG signal during denoising process. A pre-filtering process was proposed in order to separate highest-power segment from ECG signal. Then, soft thresholding method applied to several subband of ECG signal coefficient in wavelet domain using two ditThrent threshold values.<p align="justify"> <br /> <br /> The simulation shows the effectiveness of pre-filtering proces to avoid information loss from ECG signal, and application of two different threshold values results different denoising performance. Denoising algorithm proposed in this reasearch, effective only for small-power noise, consider to the power of ECG signal<p align="justify"> <br />
