Description
Summary:Decision making to determine study programs and careers is part of counseling guidance education, which aims to help students explore their interests and talents, but many factors cause the guidance process to not run optimally, including limited time, inappropriate guidance methods and an inappropriate environment support. One test method that focuses on mapping career interests is the Holland career interest method. This theory was developed by John L. Holland by emphasizing the suitability of career choice with one's personality. The use of technology flows is the answer that there is a need for a digital media (website) that can be accessed from anywhere, anytime and serves as an alternative supporting media for mapping career interests using the Holland career interest test method, so that the counseling guidance process runs more optimally. The website design method uses a Design Thinking approach that focuses on solving user problems in the field with 5 stages, those steps are empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and testwhere the website prototype produced in this research then tested on the user. The user then provides a product evaluation using the UEQ (user experience question) method in order to get a user's impression of the product as a whole. The UEQ results on the website have a positiveimpression with an average impression value of 1.50 at each point on attractiveness, clarity, efficiency, accuracy, stimulation and novelty aspects
