Description
Summary:In dry seasons, Tomado Village still struggles with the lack of clean water. This is mostly due to bad water transmission network, no water storage, and confusing water management system. As the population grows, so does the water needs, yet the availability doesn’t. With that condition in mind the solution would be to build a weir and to integrate the existing water transmission network. This report will result in dimensions for designing necessary infrasturctures to fulfill the water needs of Tomado Village for 20 years. Tomado Village. The water network and piping systems will be designed and modeled using EPANET 2.0. Tomado Village has a watershed area of 1,73 km2. Water demand is projected to be at 2.6 l/s in 2040 with the dependable discharge of 0.36 m3/s. The results of this report are designs including, weir, transmission pipes, and reservoir. The cost of realizing these designs came out to Rp. 1,425,000,000.- consisting of construction as well as its operation and maintenance.
