Summary: | Game theory is a branch of mathematics, economics and psychology that studies decision making between two or more persons who are in a state of conflict or competition, in which each person, called the player, plays logically and rationally.
This research uses game theory involving several players divided into several scenarios. The players in this research are SMA Negeri (Public Senior High School), SMA Swasta Nasional (National Private High School) and SMA Swasta Independent (Independent Private High School). Then, formed game in three scenarios: scenario 1 between SMA Negeri (Public Senior High School) and SMA Swasta Independent (Independent Private High School), scenario 2 between SMA Negeri (Public Senior High School) and SMA Swasta Nasional (National Private High School), and scenario 3 between SMA Swasta Independent (Independent Private High School) and SMA Swasta Nasional (National Private High School).
The objectives of this research is to obtain the best strategies from each school type based on each scenario, so that interested by registrants and as a recommendation for parents and the community regarding school type preferences through mathematical modeling and numerical completion from the matrix game.
The matrix game is created using fuzzy logic, involving fuzzification and defuzzification processes, followed by calculations using the game function that is defined by the author. After the matrix game is obtained, a numerical approach is done using computational-based linear programming assisted by Dual Simplex software to get the optimal solutions.
This research uses two different data sets, they are the primary data (original data) and the secondary data (simulation data). The primary data is taken from the result of respondents questionnaire in Bandung City and Bandung Regency. The primary data is used to answer the research objectives. The secondary data is generated and organized by the author to show that mathematical model that was created can be used on any kind of data. |
