Summary: | The high rate of work accidents experienced by construction workers can imply
with various kinds of losses such as delays in project completion and the large costs
incurred to pay for the care of these workers. There is uncertainty in the amount of
costs that must occur when a work accident occurs, therefore the author will do a
modeling with the GLM method which can estimate the probability of workers
having an accident in the work process by considering the factors of age, weight
and length of work experience. The data used are data obtained from PT. PP Persero
for the Kendari Bay Bridge project. The results show that the insurance premium
obtained is feasible to offer because it is smaller than what must be notified if the
company does not follow work accident insurance |
