Summary: | Louvin Student Apartment Project is a building construction project owned by PT
PP Properti Tbk, with PT PP (Persero) Tbk as the contractor. As a project that is
prone to work accidents, it is important for project team to manage OHS
(Occupational Health and Safety) risks. OHS risks not only impact to worker’
safety, but also project costs. Therefore, this study aims to analyze OHS risks by
considering the cost of risk so that the project team know how much loss is incurred
if workers are not safe. This study uses three-point estimation as the research
method because this method can calculate the risk score in costs.
There were 124 risks analyzed obtained by the 80/20 pareto analysis of 173 risks.
The results of the analysis showed the variation in the risk score from
Rp1.544.165.110,83 to Rp2.129.900.851,60. Overall, the total risk score was
Rp207.321.143.175,70. To minimize the risk score, mitigation was planned using
PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), collective protection equipment, and
training. The total cost of mitigation was Rp603.251.200,00, with PPE costs was
Rp396.993.200,00, collective protection equipment was Rp183.058.000,00, and
training was Rp23.200.000,00. Because mitigation cost was smaller than the risk
score, so mitigation was feasible.
This study shows that the three-point estimation provides more accurate risk score
than the probability-impact matrix. Although three-point estimation is more
difficult and the accuracy of the results depends on the data used, it can be
overcome by starting to collect related data and conduct research/investigation of
work accidents in more detail. |
