Summary: | Indonesia has a high cultural diversity of society. One such wealth is a myth. The
myth itself is a story that tells about the past that is exaggerated, contains noble
values that should be maintained until the present time. Although myths are still
important for today's era, people's knowledge of myths is lacking, especially for
Indonesian youth. There are various options to maintain the noble value of myth
for Indonesian youth. As time goes by, teenagers' interest in a medium has also
changed. With one of the media that teenagers are interested in and suitable for
inserting myths (which is a fantasy mobile role-playing game), the introduction of
myths to teenagers can be done effectively. Because myths often contain magical
values, the fantasy genre is suitable for reintroducing myths to teenagers. By
playing the medium they are interested in, while having fun, Indonesian teenagers
have a great opportunity to broaden their horizons on Indonesian myths, including
myths from Java. Therefore, this design was used to create a fantasy mobile roleplaying game, to reintroduce the myth of Gagak Rimang to Indonesian youth. This
design was made to lead to the unification of folklore myths about Gagak Rimang
with the trend of fantasy genre games favored by the target audience, to increase
the target audience's insight into the myth of Gagak Rimang.
