INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/56131 In this modern era, information is very accessible, which causes more people are doing travel planning activities independently without using a travel agent. However, the abundance of information available and the complexity of considering various factors in travel plans make people feel uncomfortable when planning a trip. Currently, there are several automated itinerary designer websites that can help users make travel plans. However, there are still unfavorable reviews on the website due to user difficulties in modifying travel plans. Therefore, in this final project, an interaction design for a travel planning application on a website display was developed by considering the advantages and disadvantages of existing applications. The purpose of this interaction design is to increase users' convenience in modifying the travel plans made through the travel planning application by achieving usability goals effective to use and efficient to use and user experience goals being helpful and enjoyable. The methodology used in designing the interaction design of this travel planning application is user-centered design. Data collection regarding problems, needs, and user behavior are done by using questionnaires and interviews. The final result of the final project is a high-fidelity prototype for a website platform. The final test of the design is carried out using the usability testing method. The results of the tests carried out are: 1) the SUS questionnaire shows a score of 96 out of a scale of 100, which indicates that in general, the interaction design has succeeded in achieving the usability goals to be achieved, 2) the task completion rate has reached a score of 100% which indicates the application has succeeded in achieving usability goals effective to use, 3) the SEQ questionnaire shows a score of 6.8 from a scale of 7 which indicates that the application has succeeded in achieving usability goals, efficient to use and user experience goals are enjoyable, 4) the duration of time on each display is short with an average of 5 seconds, indicating that the application has successfully achieved usability goals efficient to use 5) post-test questionnaire about helpful user experience goals that got a score of 4.6 out of a scale of 5. text
