Description
Summary:Abstract. Padalarang SPA Area is planned to serve four villages in Padalarang District, namely Kertamulya Village, Padalarang Village, Kertajaya Village and Jayamekar Village with 100% collection planning and a 20-year planning period, from 2021 to 2041. Solid waste collection to the Padalarang SPA Area is carried out by fixed container system or door to door Stationary Container System (SCS). The sorting system at selected sources is separating food waste and garden waste from other types of waste, centralized waste processing in SPA (centralization), organic waste processing using aerobic methods, namely windrow composting, and inorganic waste processing using physical methods. Waste processing with 100% collection and transportation rate, 15% reduction, the waste that enters the Padalarang SPA Area in 2041 is planned to be 185.61 tonnes/day. Paper, metal, and residue waste are processed by compaction (paper 4.59 tonnes/day, metal 0.13 tonnes/day, residue 166.05 tonnes/day). Recycled plastic waste with economic value is processed by shredding, washing, and drying the plastic (1.4 tons/day). Food waste and compostable garden waste are processed by composting by windrow (12.38 tons/day). The total minimum land requirement is 4032 m2. The calculation of the investment cost (CAPEX) required is IDR 25.286.729.000. Meanwhile, the required operational cost (OPEX) is IDR 43.003.411.459 per year. So that the NPV value is> 0, the waste management cost is IDR 618.232 per ton.
