Apart from a medical point of view, sport has played an important role in the development of the COVID 19 virus outbreak. By doing physical activity, the immunity in the human body will increase. The purpose of this study was to compare the quality, quantity of sleep, level of anxiety and physical activity of the subjects who infected and did not infected by COVID 19. Methods: This research is a qualitative study, with the subjects consisting of the people who got infected by COVID 19 (n 25) in analysis and observation with the subjects who did not get infected by COVID 19 (n 25). The data of the subjects were taken i.e., gender, age, anthropometry, blood pressure, saturation of all O2, measurement of physical activity (International Physical Activity Questionnaire), measurement of reduction levels (State Trait Anxiety Inventory), measurement of sleep quality and quantity (The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index Questioner). After that, all data were collected and compared with the Oneway ANOVA analysis. Results: the statistical tests showed the difference between the COVID 19 group and the non COVID 19 group on the variable sleep duration (p = 0.013). Likewise, the level of anxiety variable (p = 0.001) and the physical activity variable (p = 0.001). Conclusion: research shows that there are differences between participants who got infected by COVID 19 and participants who did not get infected by COVID 19, in their level of anxiety, sleep patterns, and physical activity. text |
