The government has made new policies that must be adhered to during the COVID-19 pandemic in order to maintain a more conducive situation as an effort to break the chain of the spread of COVID-19. One of the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic is the closure of several tourist attractions. The number of tourist attractions that are operational is very limited. In recent years, the Tangerang City government has been aggressively promoting the culture of the City of Tangerang, for example by holding festivals and performances containing the arts and culture of the City of Tangerang. In addition to art, Tangerang City also has another culture, namely typical food. The famous Tangerang City food is Tangerang laksa which is sold in the Tangerang Laksa Culinary Area. This culinary tourism object, which has been established for more than 10 years, has certainly felt the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. This study found that the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the Laksa Tangerang Culinary Area as a cultural tourism object in Tangerang City was the reduction in daily visitors and daily operating hours. This of course makes this tourist attraction unable to operate optimally. In addition, this study also found the connection between the Laksa Tangerang Culinary Area and the development of the Tangerang City area. text
