Almost all regions in Indonesia have their own unique handicrafts. However, for various reasons, people today have a tendency to leave traditional crafts and turn to modern products. This situation could lead to the extinction of traditional artifacts along with techniques that have been passed down by the ancestors. The preservation of the traditional crafts-making tradition is considered as an issue that is highlighted in this study.
