Summary:Koperasi Produsen Mitra Kelapa (KPMK) Pangandaran is the largest coconut agroindustry that processes cocopeat and cocofiber products in Pangandaran Regency. In its five-year business activities, the cooperative faces challenges from the cultivation sector in the form of decreasing coconut productivity, operational, marketing, and human resource problems that are interrelated and affect the value creation of their products. The problems and challenges faced are complex and require a strategy to overcome them so that value chain management research in cooperatives is used as a tool to understand them. This study aims to analyze the activities of the coconut value chain, identify internal and external factors that influence business activities, and determine the priority strategy for business development in Koperasi Produsen Mitra Kelapa (KPMK) Pangandaran based on the conditions faced. The method used for value chain analysis uses the ACIAR (Australian Center for International Agricultural Research) framework and Porter's Model. Internal and external factors of the business are identified with the Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) and External Factor Evaluation (EFE) matrices. The results of the IFE and EFE analysis are used as the basis for formulating strategies using SWOT analysis. Then to determine the priority of the business development strategy, it is carried out through the AHP approach. The analytical technique used is descriptive analysis with data collection through questionnaires, interviews, observations and literature studies. Research studies show that the coconut value chain activities in Koperasi Produsen Mitra Kelapa (KPMK) Pangandaran consist of main activities and supporting activities that create value for two products, namely cocopeat, cocofiber, and granulated coconut with an added value ratio of 62.88% each. , 52%, and 9.66%. Internal factors that become the main strengths and weaknesses are the number of coconuts owned by the cooperative and the less than optimal organizational structure. The external factor that becomes the main opportunity is the market for coconut products is wide open with easy access, while the main threat is the presence of competitors from abroad. Based on the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) approach, the strategic priority chosen for business development is to optimize the performance of human resources in Koperasi Produsen Mitra Kelapa (KPMK) Pangandaran.
