Under the Directorate, Secretariat Directorate General of Consumer Protection and Trade Order play an important role in planning, budgeting, and organizational management. Those roles require competent employees in achieving the targets. Currently, no formalized and systematic process to maintain employee’s knowledge, while several key role employees in the organization will be retired in the next 5 years. This study aims to know the readiness/current Knowledge Management (KM) maturity level and to develop KM planning and strategy. This study covers four phase of change management process adopted from Tjakraatmadja, which are: KM Project, KM Assessment, KM Planning, and K-Development. This study use mixed-methodology, qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative research is conducted by interview with senior manager of the Secretariat, while quantitative research is conducted by a questionnaire survey adopted from Asian Productivity Organization (APO) KM Assessment framework with 30 valid responses out of total 35 employees. Each KM Phase have different approach on collect information. Findings of this research shows that the organization does not yet have KM programs. From the result, the authors proposed initiatives related to KM, KM roadmap, KM implementation plan, and K-development. text |
