Engraving technique applying a hatching style to fill an object in conveying shape, surface, and contrast. Thus, bring out the potential in developing batik in this research. The final product of this research is a collection of batiks by exploring the acculturation of batik characteristics and engraving based on the illustration of The Apocalypse Series story by Albrecht Durer's engraving. The final product has a function of ritually purposed batik as decoration or aesthetic element that is prioritized for spiritual buildings.
