ABSTRACT: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The status of ITB as Legal Enterprise (Badan Hukum) has opened a new path for ITB to become autonomous. The status of autonomy implies a freedom for the institution to manage its own business in an effective and efficient way, and to be fully responsible for the planning and implementation of all program and activity. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Many researches have been done by ITB and could be opportunities to become resource alternatives for the independence of ITBs fund resources. One of the ways is to transfer technology or technology commercialization. Kelompok Penelitian dan Pengembangan Ilmu Hayati (KPP-PIH)ITB is a productive part in making researches for ITB. However many researches have not been developed and marketed and in need of an investor. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> This issue could be solving by forming a technology commercialization model. A precise and relevant forming which is suited with the environment of Institut Teknologi Bandung especially in KPP-IH is expected to speed up the technology transfer from university and finally could be useful to the society. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> This thesis is focusing on the identification of activities and interactions among the functions of researcher, entrepreneur, and consultant who are involve in technology commercialization. By knowing the activities and interactions among these actors, therefore the precise model could be determined which is suited with the expectations. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Literature study and qualitative analysis are used to help the determination of the model. The result of the research shows that interactions among the functions of researcher, entrepreneur and consultant are more effective in current condition. The implementation of this model hopefully could improve the level of technology commercialization in KPP-IH ITB.
