Light emitting diodes (LEDs) were used in determining the ratio of Plancks constant to electronic charge (h/e). Applying a voltage V to the LED, the LED emits light with the wavelength lamda. The relation between V and lamda is given by the equation eV hc/4, where c is the speed of light. It was found that the values of applied voltage V were 1.54, 1.43, 1.54, 1.60 and 2.26 V for red (4 sama dengan 700 nm), orange (620 nm), yellow (585 nm), green( 565 nm) and blue (470 nm) LEDs, respectively. Using linear regression it was obtained that the value of h/e is 3.8 x 10-15 J.s/C, which is comparable to the standard one (h/e sama dengan 4.136 x 10-15 J.s/C). <br />
