A new differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) method for determination of ascorbic acid (AA) had been developed using zeolite modified carbon paste electrode (ZCPE). Rate of electron transfer of AA s oxidation on the ZCPE is slow. Therefore, methylene blue (MB) was used for electron transfer mediator to increase the rate. The differential pulse voltamogram was made in the potential range of -700 to 400 mV. The anodic peak of MB increases with AA concentration. The calibration curves of AA were linear in the concentration range of 1 M to 1 mM with detection limit of 0.9 M. Percent recovery of AA analysis was between 98.41% - 100.29%, which showed a good accuracy. Application of the method to determine AA in real samples showed accurate result. On the contrary, matrix has a responsible effect in AA s determination in real samples. <br />
