Design is a field in art which needs creativity and it is believed that people who plunge into it have talents (based on the USOE definition about talents). This talented people have creativity and ability which are more than the people who is in the average level. Because of this reason, they need a different learning method which can optimizing and improving their talents and creativity. The different learning method needs a different handling and it causes differences in learning space rules and facilities for them. <br />

This research is objected to look for the learning method and studio space rules for learning interior design in designing level particularly. This designing level is choosen because creativity is needed the most in this level. <br />

This research is based on literature study, observation, questioner, and interview methods at Universitas Pelita Harapan and Universitas Tarumanagara, both located in Jakarta, Indonesia. Some images of studio spaces which is in universities located in other country are added as input and for comparison objects. <br />

The result of this research shows that facility and atudio space support the improving of interior design students creativity. The outcomes which can be used for planning a studio space are about: the studio space ratio, the studio space atmospheres, lighting, furniture (the table form), etc. <br />
