The questions given to students studying in the city/regency of Bandung were previously tested on 30 respondents to find out that the questions to be asked were valid and reliable. The number of samples in this study amounted to 500 students with data analysis through three stages, namely the descriptive analysis stage, the analysis prerequisite test and simple linear regression. After the data was collected, an analysis was carried out to determine the effect of the two variables in this study. The results of data processing using SPSS and have been analyzed, the research shows that most of the generation Z students who studied in the Bandung district/city during the pandemic the majority had auditory learning styles and students also had high learning engagement during the Covid-19 pandemic. There is an influence of learning styles on student engagement of generation Z students, but from the results of the study the effect of learning styles on student engagement is small because there are other factors or independent variables besides learning styles that can affect student engagement in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. text
