Summary: | The electricity crisis has occurred in Indonesia and coincided in the North Sulawesi region which is close to Gorontalo. This is a natural thing considering the large number of people in the area. To overcome this crisis problem, there is a plan to build an air power plant around the Gorontalo area to be used by the residents of the Gorontalo area. The river flow used comes from the Bone river flow. The focus of this final project is to design an overflow building to increase the river water level, along with the channels needed to deliver the flow to the electricity treatment house which includes intake lines, conveyance channels and tranquilizer ponds. Preliminary studies of the hydrological analysis of the Bone river are needed to obtain the design value of the flood discharge and discharge. The flood discharge will determine the elevation of the planned weir which will determine the elevation of the power plant line. The hydraulics design of the building is based on a 100 year return period planning. The design resulted in a weir with a width of 55m, a carrier channel with a length of 77m, a swimming pool with a volume capacity of 1440 m3. To ascertain the vicinity of the weir, a weir analysis was carried out in order to withstand the overturning and shear moments of the weir. |
