Summary: | The river flow conditions are very close to the mining area, at the upstream there is a road that
cuts the flow of the river and at the downstream there is a pit. These conditions cause the need
for a design so that the flow of the river can still be streamed and mining activities can still be
done optimally. The study used rainfall data with a time period from 2013-2019. Mononobe
method is used in calculating the value of rainfall intensity and rational method to determining
flood discharge. The design of the drainage was analyzed with Manning's equations. To
facilitate research, two area reviews are used, namely Area 1, with the condition of the mine
road that cuts the flow of the river and Area 2 with very close river flow conditions with pits.
The results of the research obtained are by using a 10-year return period, obtained a flood
discharge in Area 1 of 2.30 m3/ s, river control facilities in the form of a culvert with a diameter
of 0.8 m. In Area 2 obtained a flood discharge of 1.40 m3/s, river control facilities in the form
of a guard embankment with a height of 1.3 m. |
