In this final project, the tool was developed using a stochastic approach, namely the queuing model method. Random variables can be used to estimate maintenance load and estimate human resource capacity of various types. The tool is developed in Microsoft Excel and uses the solver feature to perform optimizations. This tool is named Maintenance Capacity Planning with Queuing Model Method. This tool can determine the optimum resource to meets a certain maintenance load with a minimum total cost. The developed tool has run correctly and produce logical values. text |
