The purpose of this research is to create a conceptual model of the geothermal system in the Rabunan-Iyang Argopuro Geothermal Area. In this study, the data used is Complete Bouguer Anomaly (CBA) data obtained from the results of the 2002 PSDMBP research in the Rabunan-Iyang Argopuro Geothermal Area. Then the data processing is carried out using two different methods, namely the moving average method and the second-order polynomial method. The anomalous results of the two methods were compared and the one that was most optimal was chosen for further data processing. Residual anomalies show anomalous results with values ranging from -13 to 9 mGal and -18 to 20 mGal, respectively. From the residual maps produced by the two methods, the residual anomaly map with the moving average method was chosen because it shows varying anomaly values and the anomalies shown are more in line with the geological conditions of the research area. Based on the modeling results, the bedrock in this area is interpreted as a sandstone unit of tertiary age. In addition, the modeling results show the presence of gabbro rock intrusions, pre Argopuro lava, Argopuro pyroclastic flow, and Argopuro lava. text |

The demand for electrical energy over the last three decades has increased. Various
energy sources have been pursued, one of which is geothermal energy sources. One of
the geothermal areas in Indonesia is the Rabunan Geothermal Area, Iyang Argopuro,
East Java. The purpose of this research is to create a conceptual model of the
geothermal system in the Rabunan-Iyang Argopuro Geothermal Area. In this study, the
data used is Complete Bouguer Anomaly (CBA) data obtained from the results of the
2002 PSDMBP research in the Rabunan-Iyang Argopuro Geothermal Area. Then the
data processing is carried out using two different methods, namely the moving average
method and the second-order polynomial method. The anomalous results of the two
methods were compared and the one that was most optimal was chosen for further data
processing. Residual anomalies show anomalous results with values ranging from -13
to 9 mGal and -18 to 20 mGal, respectively. From the residual maps produced by the
two methods, the residual anomaly map with the moving average method was chosen
because it shows varying anomaly values and the anomalies shown are more in line
with the geological conditions of the research area. Based on the modeling results, the
bedrock in this area is interpreted as a sandstone unit of tertiary age. In addition, the
modeling results show the presence of gabbro rock intrusions, pre Argopuro lava,
Argopuro pyroclastic flow, and Argopuro lava. |
