One of the most prominent changes happened is the normalization of working from home from various types company/organization. In order to reduce the amount of spread and people getting infected by the disease, the government issued a new regulation in which it reduces the amount of activity of any work related activities in their respective office which could lead in person to person contact that may increase the chances of getting infected by the disease. The aim of this study is to analyze and identify the correlation between working environment, employee satisfactory level and work motivation while they are working at home. A questionnaire using the Likert scale will be used for collecting data in this research. Should the sufficient amount of data have been collected, the researcher will use Structural Modeling of the Structural Equation Modelling in order to show us the correlation between 1 factor and another. The findings show that only work environment is affecting employee performance negatively while working at home. Besides that, employee satisfactory level, their work motivation and working at home both have positive impact towards employee performance. Several recommendations were proposed for improvement such as a fair distribution of workload within a department in order to keep the employee motivated and not feel overwhelmed, a company providing a safe and secure place for their employee and/or a change in scenery in order to work around in the work environment variable. text |
