This study uses COSCO Shipping Lines as the center of analysis. It uses empirical research on large-scale shipping companies, aiming to have a better reflection of common business conditions of shipping companies. This research paper will also dig up prevalent difficulties in shipping lines businesses and propose feasible solutions. Moreover, this paper examines the company's present development, marketing issues, and the weak operating environment. Then the company's strategic environment is assessed, together with the challenges of the political, economic, social, and technical (PEST) environments. Furthermore, this research paper will propose cost-control and product optimization solutions based on a study of the company's strategic planning objectives and options. At the end, the implementation plans execution phases will be elaborated. text
