Summary:Carbon Pricing is a scheme to control climate change by reducing the greenhouses gasses emission using a trade or tax regulation to the carbon emitters. Meanwhile, Indonesia as per-early October 2021 already pledged Tax Harmonization Regulation (UU HPP No.7/2021) on a Emission Trading System (ETS) scheme with Rp 30 per kg ($1.95/t CO2e) of carbon dioxide equivalent and will be effective from July 2022 and also supported by Presidential Decree No.98/2021 (Perpres No.98/2021) regarding the implementation of carbon economic value. This research will focus on PT Verifikator Indonesia (PTVI), a disguise name but a real company in Indonesia, an Indonesian State-owned Enterprise who specialize as an independent assurance, which in this Carbon Emission Trading industry will offer its MRV (Monitoring, Reporting, Verification) specialties. The objective of the research is to find the business strategy for PT Verifikator Indonesia to penetrate this new business. Research methodology used in writing the research is qualitative method by analyzing external and internal factor using primary data (FGD and Questionnaire) and secondary data (internal report, journal, and textbook). These external and internal factors will be further generated by using SWOT, TOWS, and Strategy Diamond Model. PT Verifikator Indonesia is suggested to penetrate the Emission Trading System (ETS) business by using Collaboration with TIC Holding, Perfect Momentum, Thorough Digitalization, Cost Leadership Program, Coopetition, Lean Organization, and further business expansion to winning the current and future Carbon Emission Trading market.
