The sambiloto extract was administered orally at doses of 135 and 68 mg/kg body weight and the red fruit oil at doses of 0,65 dan 0,32 mL/kg body weight daily, for 7 concecutive days. On the test against non-specific immune response by clearance carbon method, the extract of sambiloto at a dose of 135 mg/kg body weight showed a strong immunostimulant effect with fagocytic index 1,857. The test on specific immune response showed that the extract of sambiloto at a dose of 135 mg/kg body weight and the two doses of red fruit oil increased the antibody titer as a humoral immune response. The test on cellular immune response showed that the extract of sambiloto at a dose of 135 mg/kg body weight increased the cellular immune response while the red fruit oil at a dose of 0,65 mL/kg body weight decreased the cellular immune response significantly (p less than 0,05). text |
