Summary:PT. X is one of the Indonesian State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) engaged in the construction sector. In designing the layout of construction project storage facilities, PT. X implemented the methodology developed by Lokananta in 2018. The implementation of the process and use of the methodology created new problems for the company, namely design errors due to calculation errors caused by employees that using the methodology and the output of the tools used did not match the design needs. Therefore, a decision support system is needed to optimize the implementation and use of the Lokananta construction project storage facility layout design methodology. The support system design stages are methodological studies, identification of decision-making needs and flow chart mapping, identification of decision support system needs, and the process of designing components of a decision support system. After the conceptual design, the design and construction of a decision support system prototype were carried out using Microsoft Excel and Python software. The prototype decision support system that has been built is then validated and verified to ensure the decision support system meets the needs of the decision support system and does not have problems in its operation and use. The trial of the decision support system was carried out using the LPG Refrigerated terminal EPC project scenario. The test results show that the decision support system can store and organize input and output of data processing performed by users, automate processes that were previously done manually, and the decision support system can also produce better facility layout design results than without using a decision support system.
