Summary: | Currently the development of construction industry technology is supported by the
4.0 industrial revolution known as "Construction 4.0". The implementation of
construction 4.0 is able to answer several challenges that are more predictable and
improve overall project management throughout the project life cycle so that the
level of productivity also increases. The development of the industrial revolution
4.0, which is currently being implemented in the construction business, can
certainly be a way to achieve project performance. However, it has not been defined
regarding the use, adoption, benefits of this technology in construction projects, and
what are the challenges in implementing construction technology in project
implementation in Indonesia. The objective to be achieved in this research is to get
an overview of the application and benefits of implementing construction
technology 4.0 on 5 BUMN contractors in Indonesia. The method used in this
research is descriptive qualitative, namely by describing the conditions of
implementation of construction 4.0 on large contractors in Indonesia. In this study,
there are 3 technology classifications that have been identified, namely Physical
Site, Digital Simulation, and Virtual Collaboration. The various classifications of
these technologies will then measure the level of implementation and also the level
of benefits felt by respondents in this study.
