The mix of electrical energy sources that a few decades ago was dominated by fossil fuels, is increasingly being shifted by NRE, such as the sun and wind. Indonesia as a country that has a position on the equator and a very large area, certainly has a very large potential for solar energy. Of the 32,000 MW of solar energy potential that Indonesia has, only 31 MW have been utilized at this time. Because it is easy to install anywhere, Solar PV is the most popular generator for all types of electricity users to install on their properties. One of the most common types of electricity users who install Solar PV is the Industrial segment. The large demand for electricity and the ownership of a large roof are the reasons the industry is very suitable if a rooftop Solar PV is installed. One type of industry that has the potential to be installed with rooftop solar panels is an industrial gas company, this industrial gas company relies on its operations on electrical energy, if the electrical energy they use can be reduced in price, then this is very profitable for them. If Solar PV is used in industrial gas companies, not only will operational costs be reduced, but the impact on the environment is also very good. On the other hand, industrial gas companies have high standards of safety and stability of electricity supply, this final project will explain the design of PV mini-grid systems at PT. Air Products Indonesia, Cikarang Plant, as one of the largest industrial gas companies m Indonesia, along with a study of its technical and economic feasibility. text
