People who are most at risk are people that have a close contact with people infected with COVID-19, one of them is healthcare workers.. Much can be done to protect healthcare workers. This research location is X Hospital Bandung. This research aims to determine the risk of exposure to COVID-19 for health workers at X Hospital Bandung and to determine infection prevention control of COVID-19 at X Hospital Bandung. The data were collected through a questionnaire and checklist. The questionnaire is using “Risk assessment and management of exposure of health care workers in the context of COVID-19” from WHO, and a checklist was adapted from WHO “Infection prevention and control healthcare facility response for COVID-19”. The data analysis was performed using Microsoft Excel and SPSS. The final results obtained is that 49% of health workers have a high risk of being infected with COVID-19. Factors that influence the potential for exposure in the work environment are the type of health worker, work experience at X Hospital, and recent education. The potential for occupational exposure to COVID-19 for nurses is 67,174 times greater than for sanitarians based on the results of statistical analysis. While the factors that influence the risk of being infected with COVID-19 in health workers include the type of health worker and the latest education. The results of the attack rate calculation show that health workers working in the COVID-19 building have a value of 23% and greater than other buildings. X hospital in general carries out the control and prevention of COVID-19 infection by administrative control in an effort to control the risk of COVID-19. |
