Summary: | Indonesia is a country prone to natural disasters that affect various sectors of human life, from
material losses to fatalities. Flood is a natural disaster that often occurs in Indonesia, which has
never been out of the top 3 most common disasters since 2016. Since our people have a low interest
in reading, this results in a low level of knowledge among Indonesian people, so disaster mitigation
efforts are needed to solve this problem. This research aims to reduce flood risk by making a
prototype of an educational game application for the community as a source of literacy in a fun
way. Prototype content was created in the form of 136 questions distributed to 3600 people and
received feedback from 1809 respondents, with a minimum sample size of 1540 respondents.
Based on the content validation, 30 questions can be used as prototype content cause they met the
difficulty level requirements in the range of 0.3 to 0.7 and a discriminatory index above 0.2. UPT
PSDM ITB carried out language validation of the prototype content. Design made using Canva and
Figma integrated the elements created into a prototype. Evaluation of satisfaction using a
SERVQUAL analysis-based questionnaire declared valid and reliable with KMO values > 0.6 and
Cronbach's Alpha > 0.7. The satisfaction level analysis questionnaire was distributed to 200 people
and filled out by 111 respondents, with a minimum sample size of 45 responses. The results of the
calculation of the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) show a satisfaction level of >90%, indicating
that the respondents are very satisfied with the prototype.
