Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) is utilizing a website to make sure that information can be easily transferred between the lecturers, students, and administrators. This website is called SIX ITB. However, according to the users, there are still a few problems regarding SIX ITB’s appearance, user’s comfort, and user flow. Based on these problems, this last assignment was conducted to refine the interaction design of SIX ITB. The approach that is used in this last assignment is the user centered design with the purpose of seeing the problems through the perspective of the users. The usability goals of this design are effective, efficient, and easy to use while the user experience goals are useful and findable. The creation of this design interaction is also based on user experience laws such as Moore’s law, Jakob’s law, and Fitt’s law. The result of this last assignment is a high-fidelity prototype that was tested by usability testing. This usability testing is measured by System Usability Scale (SUS) that gained 90.5 out of 100 in the two iteration, Single Ease Question (SEQ) with the score 6.73 out of 7 in the first iteration and 6.83 out of 7 in the second iteration, and Intrinsic Motivation Inventory (IMI) with 2.52 out of 7 in the first iteration and 2.28 out of 7 in the second iteration for the subscale effort/importance, 6.78 out of 7 in the first iteration and 6.8 out of 7 in the second iteration for the subscale value/usefulness, and 6.5 out of 7 in the first iteration and 6.63 out of 7 in the second iteration for the subscale perceived competence. This shows that the prototype can be accepted as the solution. text |
