One of the development themes used is the theme of technology development at SWK Gedebage. The trend of technology and startup developments encourages relevance to the application of the technopolis concept in the context of planning. The technopolis concept is a broad concept that is part of the science park concept. Big data is currently growing rapidly, many fields have taken advantage of this technology. Therefore, this study aims to examine the characteristics of the existing SWK in the city of Bandung towards the development of technology with the Big data approach. Secondary data was collected through planning documents and SKL analysis results in Bandung City, while primary data was collected through LinkedIn, Twitter, Wikimapia, and OSM. The results showed that Cibeunying SWK was the most suitable SWK for technology development based on the framework used in this study. Meanwhile, Ujungberung SWK is the least suitable SWK for technology development based on the framework used in this research. However, based on the results of the SKL analysis, the land capability between SWKs is inversely proportional to the results of the analysis of the characteristic, in which Cibeunying SWK has the lowest land capability, and Gedebage SWK has the best land capability. The strategy that can be used by the Bandung City in general is to develop the Gedebage SWK by moving or imitating the university or startup ecosystem in the Cibeunying SWK. The results of this study can provide benefits for the Bandung City Government, Universities, Research Institutes, and Business Actors, especially startup founders, and others. text |
