However, the learning method that are presented are still focused on memorization, and not understanding. Such games also do not fully utilize the interaction potential that games could bring. Therefore, there is a need of a software that could help children to understand the concept of multiplication by utilizing the full potential of games. The objective of this study is to develop an Android game that could assist multiplication learning and identify if there is an improvement in children’s learning result and to identify whether there is a level of engagement and fun from the students in learning multiplication through this learning method. The development for this game was based on GAMED methodology. Development started with learning method analysis and game requirements analysis involving an experienced educator. The game software was then designed, implemented, and tested in the next stages based on its requiremens. The game was developed with Unity Game Engine in three iterations. The first iteration focused on the game’s main mechanics, then integrated with supporting mechanics in the second iteraton, and finally completed with visual and audio assets in the third iteration. Evalution was carried out to primary school students in the form of tests and questionnaires. The result showed 92.86% of the students were interested to participate in multiplication learning activity utilizing this game, 96.43% of the students were indicated as having fun while participating in the learning activity, and 91.07% of the students were interested in participating again in multiplication learning activity utilizing this game. Evaluation result also showed that 40.9% of the students experienced an improvement in their learning result after participating in the learning activity utilizing this game. text |

The rapid development of digital games has succeeded in affecting the education sector.
A great deal of games presenting the topic of multiplication showed up to help improve
children’s mathematics ability. However, the learning method that are presented are
still focused on memorization, and not understanding. Such games also do not fully
utilize the interaction potential that games could bring. Therefore, there is a need of a

game that could assist multiplication learning and identify if there is an improvement
in children’s learning result and to identify whether there is a level of engagement and
fun from the students in learning multiplication through this learning method.
The development for this game was based on GAMED methodology. Development
started with learning method analysis and game requirements analysis involving an
experienced educator. The game software was then designed, implemented, and tested
in the next stages based on its requiremens. The game was developed with Unity Game
Engine in three iterations. The first iteration focused on the game’s main mechanics,
