However, many challenges arise including the integrity of the exam results which cannot be guaranteed. Particularly in Indonesia, some areas with underdeveloped infrastructure often have difficulty getting good network quality. One approach to reduce the risk of cheating in online exams is mobile device management. Each device is monitored to ensure the integrity of the exam. However, if the network used is of poor quality, the device management system cannot ensure the security of personal computers properly. This happens because of the disruption of the enforcement of the policy. One form of enforcement disruption is if the system is turned off directly by the examinee. In this final project, a solution is developed to ensure the security of personal computer information in computer-based examinations in a poor network environment. A client program that independently monitors and ensures information security with the modification of mobile device management is utilized. Four security policies are identified that can be enforced in the solution system. From the tests conducted, 2 weaknesses were found in the security policy enforcement performed by the solution. text |
