Companies should have attention to their human resources activities and employees because working from the home environment is a new experience that is important for the employee. The training was the method to help employees increase their knowledge and skills and improve their abilities. The essence of the service of companies is the employees. Employee experience is essential for a company to strive in the Covid-19 pandemic. The one who just join the workforce currently is generation Z or also called Gen Z. Generation Z was the people who were born between 1995 and 2012. In 2021, there are more than 16 million Indonesian generation Z that has been working. Indonesia is the world's largest palm oil producer. Palm oil is affected by the Covid-19 pandemic because the distribution, harvesting, and transporting activities are disturbed. Therefore, this research examines the palm oil company in Indonesia. The objectives of this research are to analyze the relationship between training and employee experience and analyze the most affecting training sub-factor towards employee experience. For training variables, this research uses the Kirkpatrick model which consists of reaction, learning, behavior, and result, and for the employee experience use the employee experience framework by Morgan developed in 2017. Therefore, the independent variable for the first research objective is training, and the independent variable for the second research objective is reaction, learning, behavior, and result. This research uses a quantitative approach with an online questionnaire that was distributed to the generation z employee that already attended the training program in the last 1 year. 30 data are collected to be analyzed using simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. The research findings are there is a positive and significant relationship between training and employee experience, there is a positive and significant relationship between result and employee experience. The recommendation from this research covers all the training which are, reaction, learning, behavior, and result to have a good employee experience. |
