Description
Summary:The Increasing prospect of freshfood e-commerce product encourage the rise of several e-commerce startups that begun to focus on selling freshfood product who try to find solution for the leaner distribution process, but they faced several obstaceles such as high delivering cost and difficult to keep the quality of fresh product because the value of fresh product will decrease exponentially after harvest process. The grouping of goods in distribution centers by the optimal location will make cost reduction of delivering cost thus strategic location choice has required for transit location before distribution product process. The center of gravity (CoG) method is applied to measure the optimal distribution point, but this model does not consider regional spatial effects such as congestion, natural disasters, topography, economy and security, therefore a spatial approach is used to use the center of gravity (CoG) method. to reduce the spatial effects. The implementation of the MS2400 halal logistics standard as one of the best halal logistics standards is also applied to create standard procedures and layout designs to prevent low product quality. The results of the implementation CoG method with a spatial approach found several recommendations for latitude and longitude points for distribution locations based on 5 distribution zones, such as Zone 1 Tangerang (-6.28010, 106.6684), Zone 2 Jakarta (6.16544, 106.7465), Zone 3 Jakarta (-6.276778 , 106.8042), Zone 4 Bogor (-6.503629, 106.8340), and Zone 5 Bekasi (-6.27263, 107.19930). However, if we compared between spatial CoG approach and Classic CoG, it was found that the use of spatial CoG was not significant than classical CoG method. The application of the MS2400 standard results in several requirements such as temperature, medical checkup room, prayer room, cleaning facilities room, hygienic toilet rooms, vehicle sertu room, and damaged product separation room.
