On the PLTM water way, there are rock slopes that have the potential for landslides to occur. Stereographic analysis was carried out to determine the effect of the existing discontinuous fields and empirical analysis was also carried out using the Slope Mass Rating (SMR) classification to determine rock class and recommendations for countermeasures at each measurement point around the waterway slope. The analysis will use data from scanline measurements in the field directly as many as 6 (six) measurement points and rock strength test measurements using a Schimdt hammer as many as 10 measurements at each point. From the results of stereographic analysis, measurement points 1 & 2 have potential for wedge avalanches, measurement points 3 & 4 have potential for plane, wedge and roll avalanches, measurement point 5 has no potential for any avalanches and measurement point 6 has potential for overturning. Meanwhile, from the Slope Mass Rating (SMR) classification, it is found that at the location of measurement points 1 & 2, it is recommended that supports in the form of scaling, toe ditch or fence net, measurement points 3 & 4 and 5 are recommended supports in the form of trench or fence net and bolting and measuring point 6 recommended supports in the form of trench or fence net, bolting and shotcrete. text
