RISK ASSESSMENT WITH REMAINING LIFE TIME FOR 32” GAS PIPELINE NGLB - CLMY BASED ON DNVGL-RP-F101

Predominant contributors are developing countries, includes Indonesia. As a consequences of fossil energy increasing, pipeline construction will peak up. Those current situation makes interaction of human and creature as well as environment to pipeline will be escalated. This final project consists risk assessment for pipeline MGL (Main Gas Line) which has transmitted gas from Platform NGLB to ORF (Oil Receive Facility) Cilamaya since 1975 using Modified Kent Muhlbauer Risk Assessment. The result concludes there are 12 of 16 segments which could not comply with ALARP criteria (as low as reasonably practicable). As a further step, recommendations are needed to reduce risk into ALARP criteria. Alongwith risk assessment, remaining strength and remaining life time analysis also will be carried on in this final project using DNV-GL-RP-F-101 as the reference. The corrosions that have been formed along the pipeline can be considered to be in safety level since their value are greater than MAOP (12,29MPa and 14,77MPa). Remaining life time from examining top five external and internal corrosion are relatifly lenthy. It will take 18 years for external corrosion ad 45 years for internal corrosion to leaking. text
