| Summary: | </i><b>Abstract: </b><p align="justify"><i><br />PT. PJB as an electric producer company must be more efficient in its business. Especially for facing a competitive era in electricity business and a fact of higher energy price condition. Fuel energy bill is the highest operating cost component for PT. PJB.<br /><br />PT. PJB has been applying a policy to drive energy use as an element of the company's efficiency drive program, through power plant heat rate driving. However, power plant heat rate performance was worsening, and it is not according with the commitment of PT. PJB Board that will assurance the better company performance year by year.<br /><br />An evaluation of policy and energy management process results a proposal to improve it by adding its attributes or activities, and to support board's commitment. The one of that is an energy audit activity, as a performance measurement method. An energy audit consists of a detailed examination of how a facility use energy, where an opportunities energy saving are, and finally, a recommended program for changes in operating practice or energy -consuming equipment. |
