PT Antam Tbk. UBPE Pongkor is currently mining the ore in level 500. Beneath the level 500, there is still a economics reserve and the company has decided to continue the mining up to level 400. A ramp down connecting level 500 to the Main Haulage Level (MHL). For designing the ramp down, field investigation, laboratory test, rock mass classification and support analysis using rock mass-support interaction curves, have been conducted. The research revealed that majority of support recommended by the rock mass classification system would be adequate. The exception would be for support installed in the black sill. This support might require some modifications. |
