This is an unfamiliar territory for retail investors, with different but similar market sentiments, which will potentially cause investor irrationality, leading to a potential misconception regarding tech stocks and huge capital losses, that is relatively new to the Indonesian market. The research is directed towards market sentiments of price movement and media coverage impact towards retail investors investment intention. The research is conducted using quantitative approach with online survey as a tool to obtain in depth data, which then will be analyzed by several methods including descriptive statistics and binary logistics regression model to know the impact of independent to dependent variables. This research expects an answer of the list of market sentiments and its impact towards the investment intention of retail investors towards GOTO. Not limited to that, this research also expects useful insights for retail investors new to the market in identifying sentiments and filtering it wisely.
